‘Schizophrenia problems can be solved through counselling, rehab’
n connection with the 18th anniversary of the World Schizophrenia Day at Nest Rehab in Krishnagar, Dr V Dipika Nair, Professor, Dr M CRHRD, and prominent psychiatrist Dr Preethi Swaroop of Hyderabad Psychiatric Society, explained to the gathering the symptoms of the affected person.
Neredmet: In connection with the 18th anniversary of the World Schizophrenia Day at Nest Rehab in Krishnagar, Dr V Dipika Nair, Professor, Dr M CRHRD, and prominent psychiatrist Dr Preethi Swaroop of Hyderabad Psychiatric Society, explained to the gathering the symptoms of the affected person.
Dr Nair enlightened the gathering about the exemptions being given to patients of schizophrenia, while Dr Deepa pointed out their highly individualistic attitude. Dr Deepa stated that problems of such patients could be solved through counseling and rehabilitation, while ridding them of stress and bringing about a change of attitude.
She advised people not to harassment such patients and get right treatment for saving their lives. To mark the day the management of Nest Rehab honoured its founder-doctors by presenting mementos.
