Harish, along with the Roads & Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao, participated in several developmental works worth Rs10.3 crore in the district including the inauguration of bridge that was built at a cost of Rs 3.5 crore across Peddavagu near Indresham village in Sangareddy mandal, office building built of Rs 1.13 crore at Patancheru Agriculture Market Yard, MPDO office built at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore and MLA camp office building at a cost of Rs 1 crore in the mandal.

The Ministers also laid the foundation stone for the construction of vegetable market complex with 30 shops at the market yard with an expenditure of Rs 1.5 crore following the distribution of Shaadi Mubarak cheques to the poor Muslim brides’ families in the mandal. Minister Harish Rao said the agriculture market system had been developed in the district by expending Rs 8 crore and eight market yards were developed in Patancheru constituency with Rs 30 crore funds and 15 acre land was acquisitioned for the Patancheru market yard.

Roads are being developed with the allocation of Rs 50 crore funds after cancelling the toll tax in the constituency in which 3,000 2BHK houses are under construction for the poor homeless. As many as 5,000 poor landless people will be benefitted with the regularisation under GO 58 by the government, said the Minister who added that labour had been hopeful of employment by the round the clock power supply in the state.

R&B Minister T Nageshwar Rao said that the State government had accomplished several developmental works within three years which were in the pending for decades. So far, Rs 6,000 crore funds have been sanctioned for the development of roads and buildings in erstwhile Medak district, added the Minister. The Minister also visited the free police training centre being provided for 350 candidates by the local MLA G Mahipal Reddy at a college here. ZP chairperson Rajamani, MP Prabhakar Reddy, Collector Venkateshwarlu, MLA Mahipal Reddy, Market Committee chairman P Nagesh Yadav and others were also present at the programmes.
