Hyderabad: Two brothers, including a B Tech graduate, who were in possession of 21.5 kgs of ganja, a narcotic substance were apprehended by Task Force in Mangalhat on Sunday.

The accused, Sagar Naresh, 25, a labourer and Sagar Karthik (B Tech), 22, a private employee, both working in AP and residents of Bibi Nagar came into contact with ganja sellers. They lured the brothers of good profits, if it is sold in the city. Hence they started procuring the weed from agency area in Vishakhapatnam and sold it in Mangalhat area to prospective clients. After one of their friends was caught by the police, these brothers came under the radar of police.

According to police, On Sunday, the accused Sagar Naresh along with his brother Sagar Karthik came to near Prakash Theatre, Seetarampet, Mangalhat along with 21.5 kgs of ganja, with the intention of selling it. In the meantime police apprehended them red-handed. Both the accused along with the seized material were handed over to Mangalhat police by Task Force officials, for further investigation.
