Walls in the store are decorated with the portraits of great Indian freedom fighters along with martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. The portraits include Subhash Chandra Bose, Major Somnath Sharma, the first recipient of Param Vir Chakra in the country Somnath Sharma, Subedar Joginder Singh, Havildar Abdul Hamid, Lance Naik Albert Ekka who also received the highest military decoration Param Vir Chakra.

He named it ‘August 15’, which again describes the affection towards the country. Not just that, the store was inaugurated by Brigadier V Venkat Reddy. After having watched the photos on the walls, the army officer heaped praises on the store owner of his commitment and devotion and his spirit of nationalism.

The Brigadier said, the attempt to sensitise the visitors about the sacrifice of the martyrs is laudable. Venkat Prasad, on the occasion, said that he wanted to infuse the patriotism into the people, who visit his store and also let them know about the heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the country.
