Street lights on for two days at Bangaru Mysamma

Rahmatnagar: When the State government is combating to address the power crisis, the negligence of some employees is watering the spirit. Street lights are seen burning during daytime in many places in the city.

A street light has been lighting for two days here at Bangaru Mysamma area in Yousufguda. Locals say, this is common in the area and the lights go off after being on for several days. The absence of periodical checks was the main reason for the lights burning during day time. The locals demand that officials take responsibility in maintaining lights properly to curb unnecessary consumption of energy.
