Road repair works creating traffic jams

Khairtabad: Road digging works at Khairtabad main road is causing inconvenience to the commuters. The road digging works started earlier on Wednesday.

The other works include repairing broken footpaths and demolition of encroachments. The daytime works were leading to heavy traffic jams in the area even during the non-peak hours of the day. Part of the reason for traffic was improper parking on the road. Google map reads “20 minutes for 2 km stretch
between Lakdi-ka-Pul to Somajiguda.”
