Excise Department holds Haritha Haram at temples, graveyard

Nagole: Corporator Cheruku Prashanth Goud along with Excise Department superintendent Prakash Rao, Medchal district ES Ganesh Goud and CI Bhikshapathi Goud participated in Haritha Haram programme at a graveyard of Bandlaguda on Wednesday. Toddy Co-operative Society members K Narender, Ramarao, Cheruku Jangaiah Goud, Mettu Satyanarayana Goud, Mettu Ravinder Goud, Sahadev Goud, K Raghavender, department staff took part.

Later, the team planted saplings at Katamaiah and Pochamma temples in Nagole village. The corporator also handed over 20 tree guards to protect the plants. Local leaders Baddam Pentayya, Katta Eswarayya Goud, Golconda Miasayy, Dappu Venkatesh, Chandra Shekar Azad were present.
