The interchanged male and female babies of Archana and Saraaswati, who were allegedly swapped by the ward boy at the hospital on June 25, were handed over to their biological mothers in the presence of the Superintendent of the Hospital after conducting DNA test.

On the complaint by the parents of the both infants, the Superintendent and the Resident Medical Officer of the hospital sent the samples of the two babies for DNA test to Hyderabad in last month to confirm the original mothers. On Thursday, based on the results, the male baby was handed over to its mother Saraswati of Bollaram village and the female one given to Archana of Andur village in the presence of SI Kista Reddy.
