Officials asked to meet Haritha Haram target by August 31

Vikarabad: District Collector Sayyad Omar Jaleel on Thursday asked officials to strive to reach the Haritaharam target by August 31.

In view of heavy rains, he asked government departments to fulfill the targets by the deadline. He asked officials to supply teak plants needed by the farmers and extend technical and financial support to the needy officials.

In all, 1.50 lakh fruit-bearing saplings are kept ready with the horticulture department. He warned of severe action if they fail to reach targets by the deadline. District rural development officer Johnson, Divisional forest officer Venu Madhav, Vikarabad RDO Viswanadham, DEO Renuka Devi and other officials took part in the programme.
