Dinesh Reddy gives Kiran a boost in Seemandhra!

However, political observers feel otherwise. They are of the opinion that it these comments will give Kiran the much-needed boost in the Seemandhra region. To some extent, Kiran Kumar Reddy may also be revered in Seemandhra for his open defiance against the Congress High Command.

It may be recalled that Kiran Reddy has slammed the Centre's decision to divide the state on several occasions. There are also reports that suggest that CM will soon quit his post and launch a new party.

"The Chief Minister is against the Telangana formation. He put pressure on me to grant permission to the meeting of Seemandhra advocates at Gachibowli."

These two statements considered defamatory if taken at face value, have not really harmed his reputation. In fact the Samaikyandhra people who were wary and suspicious of the CM will now place their complete trust in him. The pro-Samaikyandhra people are a happy lot as they now believe that Kiran will stand for a AP. Kiran, however, has no strength in Telangana. So these statements wouldn't matter much to either him or the Telangana people.

The DGP also claimed that the chief minister pressurised him to say that the Maoist problem would resurface if Telangana was made a separate state. The DGP also revealed that Kiran Reddy questioned his decision to seek central paramilitary forces before the announcement on carving Telangana out of Andhra Pradesh.

Soon after the DGP's remarks on CM, TRS leaders called for a press conference and lashed out at Kiran saying the camp office was the epicentre of Samaikyandhra movement. Reports say that Seemandhra people have a soft corner for Kiran for supporting their movement. Now, Kiran Reddy too has earned the reputation of shouldering the responsibility of running the Samaikyandhra movement.

What better way to get some political mileage than this for Kiran?
