What would you do if you were a US citizen facing the most likely prospect of Donald Trump being elected as the President. Set off on the high seas ? That's precisely what Canadian Rob Calabrese thought, and he immediately respond appropriately.

In the wake of Trump's series of wins, this radio host who lives on the Cap-Breton island in New-Scotland (Canada), launched the website cbiftrumpwins.com for Cape Breton if Donald Trump Wins. His message:

"At first, it was just a joke. But it got so many answers he had to add more content to his website, to give further information regarding immigration, housing and school issues", says Boston National Public Radio in Here and Now Show.

In a radio interview, Calabrese retells some of the 2500 messages content.

"I wish everyone in Cap-Breton could read them as they make you feel so happy to live there. They're asking 'How does immigration work? Can I bring my horse as well ? What about LGBTs ?'"

The island is so proud of this sudden attention it's drawing. The radio host says the island is being deserted . "We're losing one thousand people a year." On the other hand, it enables them to welcome the ones fleeing from Trump's US.
