A second foreign suspect in the deadly bombing at a Bangkok shrine that killed 20 people has been arrested on the Cambodian border, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said on Tuesday.

He said the suspect was caught while trying to cross the border at Ban Pa Rai in Sa Kaeo province, the Bangkok Post reported.

He said the person captured was the man seen in CCTV footage on August 17 wearing a yellow shirt and leaving a backpack behind at the Ratchaprasong intersection tourist attraction.

The blast took place minutes later, killing 20 people, mostly tourists, and injuring over 150 others.

According to police officials, the suspect had a black backpack while trying to cross the border in which he was found to be carrying clothes similar to the ones the suspected bomber wore on the day of the attack.

A foreign man believed to be Turk was arrested in Bangkok last week. Bomb-making materials and 10 passports were found at a apartment in Nong Jok on the outskirts of Bangkok, police said.
