Abducted Tripura kids rescued in Bangladesh

The five children, including two girls, 10-months and 11-years old, were kidnapped by Rehena Begum, 68, from Rangamati village in southern Tripura's Gomati district and taken to Bangladesh, an official said.
"The Bangladesh Police rescued the children and arrested Rehena Begum from a house in Noakhali district on Monday," Gomati district police chief Prabir Majumder told IANS.
He said the children were presented at a court which sent them to a juvenile home and the woman to jail.
He said following his request, the Border Security Force took up the matter with Bangladesh Border Guards who asked the Bangladesh Police to rescue the children.
The children are likely to return to their home soon after completing the necessary formalities in Bangladesh.
Majumder said that Rehena Begum, a Bangladeshi citizen, was staying at the residence of her son, an Indian citizen, unlawfully.
"According to preliminary inquiry, family disputes might have caused the kidnapping," Majumder said.
Tripura shares 856 km border with Bangladesh. Some portions of the boundaries are yet to be fenced.
