The Belgian prosecutor has issued an international arrest warrant for a new suspect believed to be involved in the Paris attacks.

Mohamed Abrini, 30, was filmed on November 11, two days before the attacks, in the company of Salah Abdeslam at a motorway service station in the northern French town of Ressons, heading in the direction of Paris, Xinhua quoted the prosecutor as saying on Tuesday.

Abrini was driving a Renault Clio which was used in November 13 attacks in Paris, the prosecutor's statement added.

"This person is actively sought by the Belgian and French police services," the prosecutor said.

Abdeslam is already the subject of an international arrest warrant for his suspected role in the Paris attacks that left at least 130 people killed and over 350 others injured.
