The jolts were felt in Buner, Malakand, Swat and adjoining areas, the Dawn reported.
No loss of life or property has been reported after the tremors.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department recorded the magnitude at 5.0, with its epicentre near the Afghanistan-Tajikistan border at a focal depth of 80 km.
