Following her resolution, Taubira tweeted: "Proud. Justice has gained strenght and vivicity. Like those who devote themselves to it everyday, I dream that it never fails", and "Sometimes to resist is to stay, sometimes to resist is to leave. Being faithful to yourself, to us. One last word for ethics and right. ChT".

Lately, she openly expressed her disapproval concerning French President's proposal to strip French nationality from dual- citizens who are convicted of terrorism.
