Loved and hated. Both the right-wing party LPR (The Republicans) and the far-right wing party FN (National Front) gloated over Taubira resigning from French gouvernment. However, Taubira's leave does severely weakens French President Francois Hollande left-wing gouvernment as the former Minister of Justice did a pretty good job reforming the French law and becoming involved in the social rehabilitation of young offenders.

Hollande's gouvernment latest move to the right-wing following Paris terror attacks provoked Taubira premature leaving as she just could not stand on the same political line.

As a black woman, Christiane Taubira faced brutal criticism but at last it is she who wins the battle of loyaulty and intelligence for she has always remained faithful to her ideals, and it cost her her position.
