The 1st Edition of Cha Com Letras (Tea with Letters) was held at the Indian Embassy in Brasilia on Friday, where noted Brazilian poets Marcos Freitas, Jorge Amâncio, Welcio de Toledo and Antonio Miranda read their poems.

Brasilia :The 1st Edition of Cha Com Letras (Tea with Letters) was held at the Indian Embassy in Brasilia on Friday, where noted Brazilian poets Marcos Freitas, Jorge Amâncio, Welcio de Toledo and Antonio Miranda read their poems.

Cha Com Letras will be held every month at the Indian Embassy in Brasilia. It aims to bring together writers and poets of Brazil and India.

It is an initiative of the poet-diplomat Abhay Kumar, the new Deputy Chief of Mission of India to Brazil, with the support of the Brazilian poet Marcos Freitas.

On the occasion, Marcos Freitas read the Portuguese translation of the poem "Final Farewell To My Father" by Abhay K.

The event was attended by a large number of Brazilian literature lovers.
