The United Arab Emirates appointed eight new Ministers, including five women. Among them, one Minister of Happiness, one Minister of Tolerance and one Minister of Youth, aged only 22. Former director-general of the prime minister's office Ouhoud al-Roumi was given the position of Minister of Sate of Happiness. "Happiness is not just an empty promise in our country. There will be plans, projects, programs and indicators. This will be part of all ministries' work", said the Prime Minister on Twitter.

Emirati government's law still contain several discriminatory clauses toward women according to Human Rights Watch NGO. Only under exceptional circumstances can women ask for divorce, polygamy is permitted and Penal Code gives men the right to use physical violence on their wives.

"The new cabinet focuses on the future, youth, happiness, developing education and combating climate change," tweeted the 66-year-old prime minister, who is also the Emirati vice president and ruler of Dubai
