Kathmandu :The United Democratic Madhesi Front in Nepal has announced fresh protest programmes, including signature campaigns and protest assemblies.
The two-day meeting of the Front decided to continue new protest programmes.
The Front said that it would hold assemblies in district headquarters from March 8 to 14, reports The Himalayan Times.
They would burn an effigy of members of the then Constituent Assembly in a symbolic protest on March 20.
The Front comprising seven Madhes-based parties has been staging protests for the last five months arguing that the new Constitution did not address their concerns.
Meanwhile, the Front objected to the recommendation for Justices of the Supreme Court made by the Judicial Council, which claimed that it violated the principle of proportional inclusion.
