"Whenever there are talks between India and Pakistan, the Kashmir issue would remain on agenda. Pakistan strongly condemns human rights violations in IHK (Indian-held Kashmir)," the Dawn quoted Zakaria, as saying.

Zakaria highlighted that the anti-Pakistan campaign on the eve of its cricket team's visit to India only counter added efforts aimed at reducing tensions between the two nations.

"Sports and other functions, including arts and cultural events, help in promoting people to people contacts between the two countries", Zakaria said.

He also said that Pakistan has joined the 34-state Islamic military coalition to fight terrorism and extremism which poses danger to the Muslim world's peace.
