Christians were not the specific target of this attack because the majority of the dead are Muslims,reports the Dawn.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in the city along with Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to take stock of the situation on ground as well as to visit survivors of the blast at the Jinnah Hospital.
