R&B up-and-comer Kehlani was hospitalised post an apparent suicide attempt after rumours of her love life started making rounds.The singer, who appears on Zayn Malik\'s debut solo album, duetting with the former One Direction band member on the song \'Wrong,\' posted a picture of herself in a Los Angeles-area hospital with an IV in her arm to Instagram March 28, reports News.com.au.

"Today I wanted to leave this earth. Being completely selfish for once. Never thought I'd get to such a low point," the 20-year-old wrote in the since-deleted post.
The whole incident came on the backdrop of the online gossip, after her former beau Toronto singer Party Next Door, took to Instagram to post a since-deleted image of him holding Kehlani's easily identifiable tattooed hand in bed, with the questionable caption, "After all her shenanigans, still got the R&B singer in my bed."
The Oakland singer went on to explain that, contrary to breathless internet speculation, the problems in her private life were all the result of a misunderstanding.
"Don't believe the blogs you read. No one was cheated on and I'm not a bad person . Everyone is hurt and everyone is in a place of misunderstanding.. But as of today, I had no single wish to see tomorrow.. But God saved me for a reason, and for that. I must be grateful.. Cuz I'm not in heaven right now for a reason," she wrote.
