Kathmandu : Nepal Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli on Thursday said he is still not tired to carry out the responsibilities of his office.

"Please do not talk about changing the shoulder, KP Oli's shoulder is not tired yet," The Himalayan Times quoted the Prime Minister as saying at a function in Kathmandu.

Oli said that he has been threatened to quit the position, adding he won't bow down to the shouting and threats.

He, however, maintained that he did not have any lust for power and was ready to quit if it would do some good to the nation and its people.

Oli claimed that he was elected as the Prime Minister as a result of his service to the nation and added he would continue working for the nation till the last minute of his tenure.

Meanwhile, Oli rubbished reports claiming that he had an agreement with CPN Maoist Centre chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal about the change of guard.

Oli also urged the protesting Madhes-based parties to end street protests and come to the negotiation table.
