The 6th meeting of IndiaNepal oversight Mechanism was held on Wednesday to review the progress of all the bilateral projects since the reciprocal states visits by the Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli and India Prime Minister

Kathmandu Kathmandu [Nepal]: The 6th meeting of India-Nepal oversight Mechanism was held on Wednesday to review the progress of all the bilateral projects since the reciprocal states visits by the Nepalese Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli and India Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018.

According to Embassy of India, the meeting focused on the early completion of all bilateral economic and development cooperation projects between the two countries.

The projects included, cross-border rail projects, integrated check posts, Terai Roads Project, cross-border transmission lines, Arun-II hydropower project and many more.

The meeting was co-chaired by Ambassador of India to Nepal H.E. Manjeev Singh Puri and Foreign Secretary, Government of Nepal Shanker Das Bairagi and was attended by projects implementing agencies from both the countries.

The next meeting of the Mechanism will take place on a mutually convenient date.
