DL slams Varadarajulu again

Kadapa: The war of words between Congress leaders and Minister DL Ravindra Reddy continues. On Monday, Minister DL Ravindra Reddy launched a scathing attack on senior Congress leader Varadarajula Reddy, saying that the latter was leveling baseless allegations only to appease Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and other State Congress leaders. Varadarajulu Reddy has no credibility among the people, but he is planning to get an MLC seat and a Minister's post through lobbying. "Now, he has started making cheap remarks against me with the support of Congress MLA Veerashiva Reddy," he remarked. The minister claimed that he had not indulged in any irregularity and never misused his power with the post of a cabinet minister. "If they feel that I have committed irregularities, they should prove into allegations with the help of a CBI inquiry," he said.
