Karimnagar: Senior BJP leader Ch Vidyasagar Rao demanded that the Bill for separate Telangana state be introduced in the next session of Parliament without further delay. Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, Mr Vidyasagar Rao alleged that some leaders were trying to block the process of separate State. Even in the past, certain leaders stressed on the `Gentlemen’s Agreement’ which caused loss to the people of Telangana, he said. The former Union Minister demanded that the bill be introduced in the Parliament as per Article 3.

``Some leaders have been trying to create violence by generating differences among the people of two regions and thereby obstruct the separate Telangana process. Leaders of both the ruling party and the opposition parties took a decision in favour or separate Telangana and now the leaders of certain parties are raising objections which is not proper,’’ he said. Mr Rao said: ``There is no Cabinet to take policy decisions and Chief Minister has been keeping aloof and has not been participating in official work actively. People of the region have been facing hardships due to rains and other problems.’’ He also alleged that Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy has been indirectly encouraging the agitation in Seemandhra region. He demanded that Centre has to direct the Chief Minister to take measures to solve the problems of the people.
