Suryapet: Even after two months of formation of Suryapet district, the main political parties, TRS, Congress and BJP, have failed to appoint party district presidents. Cadres of the respective parties express frustration over party high commands delay.

However, the Telugu Desam Party appointed Patel Ramesh Reddy, CPM Mulkalapally Ramulu and CPI Ganna Chandra Shekar as their parties Suryapet district heads. Meanwhile, the competition in TRS, BJP and Congress is tough for the appointments to district president’s post.

With regard to TRS, Madireddy Srinivas Goud, Nimmala Srinivas Goud and Yerneni Babu were in the early list. But, the names of Y Venkateshwarlu and Ganduri Prakash were also added to the list recently.

According to reliable sources, Y Venkateshwarlu is favouring Market Committee Chairman post to party district president in view of his age factor.

In Congress, Chevity Venkanna Yadav, Gopagani Venkat Naryana Goud, Chekilam Rajeshwar Rao, Tandu Srinivas Yadav, Musham Ravikumar and Jinnareddy Srinivas Reddy are in race for the post.

Chevity Venkanna Yadav, Gopagani Venkat Naryana Goud and Chekilam Rajeshwar Rao are trying for the post through former Minister Ramireddy Damoder Reddy, whereas Tandu Srinivas Yadav, Musham Ravikumar and Jinnareddy are lobbying with CLP deputy leader Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.

In case of BJP, Geedi Bixam, Nallakuntla Ayodhya, Rukma Rao are eyeing for party district president post. Meanwhile, party cadres of TRS, BJP and Congress are expressing a common opinion that parties became like ships without rudders and urged respective high commands to fill the party district president posts for the welfare of cadres and for party’s future.
