Class X girl attempts suicide

Kodad: A Class X girl student , Lohitha, of Sri Vaishnavi High School in this town of Suryapet district allegedly attempted suicide on Sunday by jumping from the fourth floor of her hostel building during the lunch break.

A resident of Appireddigudem, near Miryalaguda, she fractured both legs. The motive for her bid to end life was not immediately known.

However, the school principal claimed that the student who had been sent to the hostel for lunch slipped after going to bathroom.Persons who were at the spot rushed her to the government hospital at Khammam.The real reason for the student’s alleged suicide attempt will be known only after her parents reach the town and the hospital.
