Yadagirigutta: The temple town of Yadagiridutta was abuzz with devotees making a beeline to Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple here on Sunday.

The ‘Vratha’, ‘Kalyana’ and ‘Pushkarni’ areas were teeming with people. Visitors had to wait for hours in the queue lines for the lord’s darshan. They had to wait for two hours for free darshan and 30 minutes for the special darshan.

With the temple development works going on at a brisk pace, the hill temple officials are not able to provide minimum facilities, like accommodation in choultries, drinking water etc.

The police did not allow vehicles to go up the hill in view of the weekend rush and also as a security measure. The vehicles were parked in Tulasi Cottage down the hill.
