Khammam: The district leader of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPM) K Narasaiah alleged that after the formation of Telangana only the rulers changed but the system, the problems and the fate of Telangana people remained the same.

A general body meeting of the urban CPM party was held here at Sundarayya Bhavan here in Khammam on Monday. Speaking in the meeting, K Narasaiah said, “With lot of hopes and aspirations and for fulfilling the long-pending dreams of Telangana people, the separate State is formed.

Many people dreamt that after formation of Telangana they would get huge funds, lands for cultivation and employment opportunities. However, the dream remained as dream with the ruling of TRS party.”

He also said about 93 per cent of population in Telangana belongs to SC, ST, BCs and Minorities and their lives have seen no development under the two-and-a -half years rule of the pink party.

“Without the development of downtrodden and women, the development in other sections is not considered as development,” he said
“Only the rulers changed, the system and fate of Telangana did not change,” he criticised, adding that for the overall development to take place covering all sections of people along apart from providing social justice, alternate politics and political parties were must in present situations. Party leaders Shaik Mera Saheb, Buggaveti Sarala, M Nagamani, B Raju, Upendar, G Sathyanarayana and A Linagaiah were present along with others.
