Miryalaguda: Telangana Political Joint Action Committee (JAC) Chairman Prof M Kodandaram on Wednesday called upon the youth to question the State government for securing of employment.

Addressing the ‘nirudyogula garjana’ (protest by unemployed) organised by the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) here, he accused the TRS government of failing to provide suitable jobs to educated people of rural areas.

Kodandaram observed that shortcomings in education that are found in various areas were also prevailing in the employment sector. He explained that while there were lakhs of jobs in the IT sector yet there was a stiff competition for the Group posts with 800 candidates aspiring for each.

The JAC leader demanded the filling of all vacant posts in various departments by implementing the SC order and issuing DSC notification. He called upon the government to fight for securing the right share of the Krishna water to the State, while stressing that there should not be any political interference in such issues.

Kodandaram suggested that the Nagarjunasagar Left Canal water should be released for raising two crops.Earlier, the JAC Chief toured the Indiramma Colony of the town to know the problems of the residents. He called on the participants in the deeksha camp demanding Niryalaguda district to express solidarity. He said the government should concede the demand.
