Khammam: The 141 Battalion Commander of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Kiran Kumar said that about 32 tribal youngsters, including 15 girls, were selected to participate in ‘9th Tribal Youth National Seminar’, to be held in Jammu & Kashmir from February 19 to 25.

Khammam: The 141 Battalion Commander of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Kiran Kumar said that about 32 tribal youngsters, including 15 girls, were selected to participate in ‘9th Tribal Youth National Seminar’, to be held in Jammu & Kashmir from February 19 to 25.

Speaking to media at Press Club in Khammam on Thursday, he said the Tribal Youth National Seminar, held every year under Ministry of Sports and Youth Services, selects as many as 200 members of tribal youth from various district across the country.

“This year the seminar is going to be held from February 19 to 25 in which tribal youths will be given training on employment opportunities, startup India, Indian history, tribal issues and measures to be taken to solve them at Saraswathi Dham of Sri Matha Vhaishnavi Devi Shrine Board in Jammu & Kashmir,” he informed.

“Around 15 tribal girls and 17 boys were selected from the Left Wing Extremism-affected agency areas of Khammam by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), in association with Nehru Yuva Kendra, to participate in the seminar,” said the Commander. CRPF SI Sridhar, Coordinator of Nehru Yuva Kendra P Rajashekar and District Development Officer Madhusudhan attended the press briefing.
