He performed special poojas and visited the temple of Goddess Laxmi on the premises of Ramalayam. Bhadrachalam Sub-Inspector P Karunakar and Irravendi MPTC Vamsi accompanied Jayashankar.

Meanwhile, the temple town has witnessed heavy rush of devotees here on Monday, with the day being a holiday. While Nitya Kalyanam was held on Ramalayam premises, the devotees performed special pujas to the deities at the main temple.
