Speaking on the occasion, CPM two town Secretary Y Vikram said people were facing serious problems half-works of under bridge at Mammillagudem and must take immediate steps for completion of the bridge. To prevent accidents occurring very often at bypass road of Raparthinagar Centre, there was an urgent need to construct a subway at that location, he observed.

He demanded allotment of Municipal quarters to those residing at Revathi Centre apart from providing all the facilities. CPM leaders Narra Ramesh, Barri Venkata Kumar, Thalluri Ramu, K Gurumurthy, J Venkanna Babu, Upendar Naik, Sadanandam and Battula Venkanna were present along with others. Similarly, the leaders of the Congress Party Minority Cell called on Municipal Commissioner and discussed the sanitation and other issues.

Speaking on the occasion, Congress Party Minority Cell convener MD Fazal informed the Commissioner that the people living in surrounding areas of vegetable market were facing severe problems due to accumulation of vegetable wastes in and around the market area as the municipal workers were removing once in every three days.

Responding immediately, the Commissioner directed the Municipal workers and sent a tractor to remove the wastes from the market surroundings. Minority Cell leaders Zaheer, SC Cell convener Peram Mallaiah, ST Cell chairman D Venkat Rao and Kanaka Raju were present along with others.
