Govt hostels under CCTV surveillance soon

Jogulamba Gadwal: The District Administration of Jogulamaba Gadwal has directed the concern officials to install CCTV cameras in all the government hostels across the district. As already some government hostels in the district headquarters are under the surveillance of CCTV cameras, the Collector on Friday directed the officials to install CCTV cameras in government hostels to ensure the safety of all the boys and girls.

Particularly this initiative is very much helpful for the girls’ hostel as the security and safety of the students who are living in hostels far away from their parents is paramount. While inspecting the facilities at a government girls hostel in Gattu mandal in Gadwal, Collector Rajat Kumar saini, “Hostel students must utilise all facilities provided by government and should work hard to excel in their studies and should lay golden path for their future,” said the Collector. Later the Collector distributed bed sheets to the hostel students.
