It may be recalled that Minister for Marketing T Harish Rao had laid foundation stone for the Market in May this year to realise the long-pending dreams of Mosambi farmers. In this connection, the government had sanctioned 12 acres of land on the SLBC Camp office premises and allotted Rs 1.5 crore for its construction.

While inaugurating the Rythu Bazar in Nalgonda on October 5, Minister Harish Rao informed that in view of heavy cultivation of Mosambi in the district, the government has sanctioned the market in Nalgonda to benefit the respective farmers. According to reliable sources, Minister Harish Rao has been reportedly enquiring over the phone about the status of works of the market with District Collector Gaurav Uppal, Horticulture District Official Sangeetha Laxmi and Marketing Official Aleemuddin.

Majority of Mosambi farmers of Nalgonda district has been appreciating the government’s commitment and expressed their happiness over the brisk pace of works. They opined that transportation charges would be reduced considerably once the market starts functioning.
