BCs demand opportunities in all fields

Choutuppal: BC Sankshema Sangam state president Jajula Srinivas Goud stated that out of the 1,200 martyrs during Telangana agitation, 1,100 belongs to back ward communities.

Speaking to the media at Choutuppal on Monday, he alleged that the upper-class people are enjoying the power while several people belonging to weaker section have sacrificed their lives during first and second phases of Telangana agitation.

Stating that the BC population in the State is more than 50 per cent, he demanded all political parties to announce their BC policy to prove their responsibility towards neglected sections.

Srinivas demanded both State and Central governments to provide opportunities to BCs in education, employment and politics as per the population.
