District Collector Surendra Mohan directed the officials concerned to make all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of SSC exams, to commence from March 2.  The Collector along with District Educational Officer Chaitanya Jain, on Tuesday, conducted a meeting with school education officials at MSR School of Durajpally in Suryapet mandal.

Suryapet: District Collector Surendra Mohan directed the officials concerned to make all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of SSC exams, to commence from March 2. The Collector along with District Educational Officer Chaitanya Jain, on Tuesday, conducted a meeting with school education officials at MSR School of Durajpally in Suryapet mandal.

Addressing the officials, the Collector informed that as many as 16,213 students were going to appear for SSC exams in the district. In this connection, 64 government schools and 14 private schools have been selected as SSC exam centres.

As per the schedule, the exams would be conducted from morning 9 am to 12.30 pm. Collector ordered the officials to impose Section 144 on exam centre premises besides provide drinking and transport facility to students appearing for the exams.

“For smooth conduct of exams, four flying squads and sitting squad in each centre are constituted,” Surendra Mohan informed, advised the students to reach the exam centres an hour early before the commencement of the exam.

Directing the officials to take all measures to see the question papers reach in time, the Collector instructed the officials to not allow cell phones and electronic gadgets into exam halls. Nodal Officer Venkateshwarlu, officials Rambabu, Kala Rani, Mandal Education Officers and headmasters of schools took part in the meeting.
