Suryapet: Telangana Adult Education Contract Employees state president MSuresh on Tuesday urged the government to continue the adult education programme in the State and provide job security to all SaksharaBharath coordinators. Sakshara Baharath coordinators stageda protest demonstration in front of Minister for Energy Jagadish Reddy’s camp office in Suryapet.

Addressing coordinators, organization leader Suresh said as many as 17,390 village coordinatorss, 443 mandal coordinators have been working in the project in 8,695 grampanchyaths in the State for the last eight years.He criticised the government for proposing to wind up the programme.

They demanded that government take over the project and save their families by providing job security to them. When few protesters tried to enter the Ministers camp office, the police arrested them and shifted them to the nearest police station.
