​Yadagiri Gutta: DCP Ramchandra Reddy on Thursday directed the local lodge owners to extend their cooperation to curb illegal activities in Yadagirigutta and surrounding places to protect the sanctity of the Yadadri shrine.

The DCP was holding a meeting with local lodge owners at Yadgirigutta. Speaking on the occasion, he said, illegal activities were being carried out in some of the lodges and such things would damage the reputation of the rapidly developing historical place, Yadadri.

Stating that their investigation had revealed that illegal activities became rampant in some lodges, he directed the lodge owners to provide rooms to the families and to those with proper identity proof.

He ordered the lodge owners to maintain records and record the names, phone number and Aadhar numbers of all customers and forward them to the local police station. He also directed them to install CCTV cameras in their lodges.

Yadagiri Gutta Town and Rural CIs Anjaneyulu, Ashok Kumar, Bhongir Rural CI Srinivas Reddy, SI Rajashekar and local lodge owners participated in the meeting.
