The government has issued notification for the establishment of new Agriculture Market at Muddulapalli village in Palair constituency in the district.Keeping in view of heavy rush at Khammam Agriculture Market and in an attempt to address the problems of the farmers, the Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao had taken initiative for new Agriculture Market at Muddulapalli village.

Khammam: The government has issued notification for the establishment of new Agriculture Market at Muddulapalli village in Palair constituency in the district.Keeping in view of heavy rush at Khammam Agriculture Market and in an attempt to address the problems of the farmers, the Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao had taken initiative for new Agriculture Market at Muddulapalli village.

It may be noted that in a recent visit to Khammam district, the officials of State Marketing Department had inspected the government land survey No 90 and identified 18 acres of land for the new Agriculture Market at Muddulapalli village and issued primary notification inviting objections from the local people.

After examination of all issues, the government issued orders (GO No. 40) on Monday. The government also formed e-market committee related to Thirumalayapalem and Khammam rural mandals along with appointing in-charge officials to look after the construction works of new agriculture market at Muddulapalli village.

Every year, the farmers from Palair and Madhira mandals in the district, from Kuravi, Dornakal and Maripeda mandals in Mahabubabad district and from Kodada, Mote and Nadigudem mandals in Suryapet district bring their produce to Khammam Agriculture Market after covering a long distances facing lot of problems.

With the establishment of Agriculture Market at Muddulapalli, the farmers belonging to Palair and Madhira constituencies along with Mahabubabad, Suryapet and Nalgonda districts will be benefited.
