Top official praises Rythu Bandhu as unique scheme
Principle Secretary for Finance RKrishna Rao has described Rythu Bandhu as a unique scheme and first-of-its- kind in the world.
Yadadri-Bhongir: Principle Secretary for Finance RKrishna Rao has described Rythu Bandhu as a unique scheme and first-of-its- kind in the world.
While participating as a chief guest at the cheque distribution function at Penchikal Phahad under Bhongir mandal in the district, the Principal Secretary distributed cheques and pattadar passbooks to the farmers. Speaking on this occasion, the land purification programme had addressed the issue land disputes.
Now, the Rythu Bandhu scheme would help the farmers. He advised the farmers to utilise the welfare schemes launched by the government. He said a total of 58.98 lakh farmers are getting the benefitunder Rythu Bandhu scheme.Under this scheme,cheques worth Rs 5,730.70 crore are being distributed to farmers. He exuded confidence that Rythu Bandhu scheme would usher in a radical change in agriculture sector, he added.
In the program, District Collector Anitha Ramachandran, Bhongir MLA P Shekar Reddy, MLC Krishna Reddy, RSS district coordinator Kolpula Amarender, District Library Chairman Jadala Amarender Goud, RDO Bhupal Reddy,Market Committee Chairman Panthulu Naik, PACS chairman Sathi Reddy, officials and farmers participated.
