Nalgonda: Telangana State Forest Development Corporation (TSFCD) Chairman and former Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Nalgonda district president Banda Narender Reddy predicted that no single Congress leader of erstwhile Nalgonda district would get back his deposit in the next Assembly elections.

Narender Reddy, along with party constituency in-charge Bhupal Reddy, distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques to 23 beneficiaries at a programme held at the TRS district office in Nalgonda on Monday.

Later addressing the media, Narender Reddy said the Congress’ top leaders Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jana Reddy and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy had been spending days with baseless comments against the State government and spreading lies on several other developmental activities going on in the State.

The Telangana government had completed long-pending flood canal works and provided irrigation facility to 80,000 acres in the district, he said and added that the Congress leaders’ advance poll promises during their Bus Yatras in view of the 2019 elections could not be implemented practically.

Stating that the proposed medical college was going to be established on the premises of the District Government Hospital in Nalgonda, he ruled out the allegations of the Congress leaders with regard to the discrimination in allocation of funds to the college.

TRS constituency in-charge Bhupal Reddy mocked that all leaders in the Congress were claiming themselves to be the Chief Ministerial candidates. On June 17, Minister for Marketing T Harish Rao was going to inaugurate the Mosambi market constructed at SLBC camp in the town, he said.

Stating that the TRS government had sanctioned Rs 156 crore to beautify Nalgonda town, he urged the people to support the TRS and drive away Komatireddy Venkat Reddy from the constituency in the next elections. TRS local leaders were also present at the meeting.
