Woman delivers baby outside Nalgonda government hospital

Nalgonda: In shocking incident, a woman delivered baby under a tree outside the district government hospital here on Thursday. She gave birth to a baby outside the hospital because of apathy on the part of the hospital staff.

According sources, the woman, Swathi, resident of Subbareddy Gudem under Miryalguda mandal, came to the hospital for delivery. But the staff refused to admit her on the pretext of shortage of blood units. The staff later admitted her in hospital. Kin of the women and patients expressed concern over the apathy of the staff in taking care of patients.
