Farmers assured of fair price for land acquired: Khammam Collector

Khammam: District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar here on Thursday assured the farmers that he would ensure fair price for the land the government acquired in consent with the landholder for the construction of high-level bridges in villages.
The Collector was chairing a meeting with the farmers the office of Revenue Divisional Officer here. The government has decided to construct high-level bridges at in Polishettygudem and Kasirajugudem villages under Khammam rural mandal, Hydersaipet village under Thirumalayapalem mandal, Surdepalli village under Nelakondapalli mandal.
The Revenue officials acquired land from farmers to facilitate the construction of bridges. The Collector, while interacting with the farmers, assured them that he would ensure fair price for their lands.
Revenue Division Officer T Purnachandra, Tahsildars of Khammam rural, Nelakondapalli and Thirumalayapalem Narasimha Rao, Saidulu and Krishna Veni, Land supervisor Meenan, Revenue Inspector Waheed and R and B Executive Engineers were present.
