Kothagudem: The Centre of Indian Trade Union (CITU) staged a protest rally and dharna demanding the State government to resolve the issues faced by Asha workers in the coal town on Friday. Union leaders A J Ramesh, A Kanakaiah and Brahma Chary led the protest programme here. The agitating acitivists demanded that the government fulfill all promises given by it immediately.

They demanded that the government fulfill all promises made by the Chief Minister at Pragathi Bhavan earlier. They also demanded double bedrooms houses for every Asha worker in the State and issue identity cards immediately. They extended their support to Asha workers in their agitation demanding solution to several issues.
