Kothagudem: Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao held a review meeting on the progress of construction works of a major irrigation project Seetha Rama Project here on Wednesday. He directed the officials to submit activity report on the project during the meeting with engineers and officers in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
During the meeting Nageswar Rao reviewed the designs of project. He directed the officials make some modification to the design immediately. He also directed the officials to complete the construction works of canals of 16 Left and 18 Left, which are connected to the Krishna river at the earliest.
He also expressed displeasure over the progress of the works and directed the officials expedite the construction works and complete the works before the deadline. He also suggested the officials to observe alignment of the works of 3rd pump house in Sathupally mandal. Chief Engineer Sudhakar, Superintendent Engineer Nageswara Rao and concerned officers attended the meeting.
