Mahbubnagar: District Collector Ronald Rose conducted a surprise inspection of Mandal Revenue Office in Makthal mandal on Thursday. The Collector inspected the land records and enquired with the officials about various issues in the mandal.
The Collector directed the officials to clear all the pending files relating to the land purification drive as early as possible and ensure that no farmer is deprived of the benefits of Rythu Bhandu and Rythu Bheema schemes.
Later, the Collector took part in Haritha Haram programme and planted saplings at Zilla Parishad High School in Maganuru mandal. While talking on the occasion, the Collector said that students must inculcate the habit of keeping their surroundings green and clean. “Everyone must plant a tree and ensure that their surroundings are kept clean and green,” Collector added.
While taking part in an awareness programme to make Maganuru mandal an open defecation free mandal, the District Collector gave a call to the people of the mandal to ensure that each and every household constructed individual latrines and ensure the mandal be converted as swatch Maganuru mandal among all the mandals in the district.
