AISF demands Brahmani Steels for Rayalaseema

Kurnool: The State government should take up the construction of Brahmani Steels which is intended for the development of Rayalaseema, All India Students Federation district secretary Chandrasekhar demanded here on Tuesday. Addressing the students who staged a dharna at the Collectorate here, the AISF leader said that the late chief minister Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy had accorded permission for the construction of Brahmani Steels to provide employment to the people of Rayalaseema. The steel factory was also given 1200 acres of land," he recalled. Lambasting Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for taking back the land due to political reasons he said that it was not proper to stall the construction of the factory. Stating that Brahmani Steel is the right of Rayalaseema people, he warned that the people would revolt against such moves.
